Pros

Paycheck never bounced! Great place to network for another job and find out what salaries are elsewhere since everyone is opening looking for another job.

Cons

New engineers receive no training, no mentoring nor even examples of past jobs to guide them. Yet are expected to turn out projects in a timely manner. Owner constantly belittles and threatens to fire employees directly in front of other employees. Most employees last about 6 months. Very difficult to produce a quality work with a constantly ever changing drafting and engineering group. Any promises or verbal commitments from management are worthless.

Pros

Nothing other than a resume filler. You will have a job that says project engineer but little to show for it.

Cons

Extremely poor pay tied to clients. As a project engineer, you don’t learn much unless you come in on the weekends for special projects where Oregon employees might come in to work. You are expected to drive very far in your personal vehicle all the time and only get compensated for mileage. Some times you have to drive for 6 hours to get to a project site and if the hotels in the area are too expensive relative to the cost of mileage, you will be expected to drive the distance every day instead.

Pros

There's a lot of in office perks, massage chair, great view, and a ping pong table.

Cons

You're valued very little as an employee and you're told how you can easily be replaced.
