Pros

- Young & Vibrant Team of Locals whom has the ambition to scale their personal growth

Cons

You’d probably get a better life in a Prison Cell, just having 23 hours staring & counting at bars and having 1 hour of yard time. Rather than working for a dictatorship and uncivilised organisation that is run by a “wannabe” dictator whom has zero knowledge about eCommerce & HOW to run a organisation as a General Manager. A General manager whom claims to be a founder of a product which is so alike to a competitor (copy & paste) backend. Never aligns with anyone, pretentious as he may be, uses words & deems to have build a well culture? (NOPE) he build a culture that is about using uncalled for terms to others around their backs, and employing competitors to craft their inside trade secrets to build a platform to compete. - Never accepts Feedbacks - Behaves like a child and demands for the impossible - Sets KPI’s & OKRs without understanding the terms - Sets a horrendous culture by example - Leadership has no remorse and values - Sugar coats words to future employees - 996 work life balance - Vaguely uses words to other employees

Pros

Literally can't think of a single pro

Cons

Let's dive straight into the mess that is the leadership team. With their big egos and condescending behaviour, all while having the audacity to make completely incoherent business decisions, they created an environment that can only be described as hostile. Competence? Forget about it. They run on 100% confidence. Management is just the same – with decision-making skills that are akin to throwing darts blindfolded, they make even the most chaotic kindergarten seem organised. You can't achieve their business goals? That's 100% on you too - and not because they are incapable of strategising properly and deploying adequate resources. Resource management, or rather the lack thereof, was a glaring issue as well. Despite my eagerness to take on more significant challenges and my consistent expression of capability, I found myself stuck in a cycle of mind-numbingly menial tasks typically reserved for interns. Not only did this stifle my professional growth, it also wasted almost 1 year of my life. In conclusion, Shopline is a colossal waste of time and energy. For those considering joining this circus, beware of the clowns they disguise as leaders and management here.

Pros

Don't expect to learn anything that will benefit your career growth.

Cons

Company has no direction from the C-levels down to local teams. Whether it is SG, VN, MY, TH or even the HQ offices, no one has the courage to put the business on the right path - instead of just playing catch-up. Founders are poor leaders lacking in any communication skills, or know how to run a company proper. Good luck to anyone joining.
