Pros

was referred by a friend to work at SLS. I honestly thought it would be no different than the other companies I used to work for. They really know how to treat their staff right and aren't stingy when it comes to rewarding top performers.

Cons

Sadly, they're only located in Florida as I know my friends in California and Arizona would love to work for a place like this

Pros

The company initially provided great opportunities for growth. My early years were fulfilling, and I was recognized with a promotion, which I appreciated.

Cons

After moving into a more central role, it became evident that the office culture is heavily influenced by favoritism—many individuals in key roles are friends or family of upper management, often lacking the necessary experience. Workload distribution is unfair, and management lacks true authority. Human Resources, despite technically having decision-making power, consistently fails to act on clear, documented issues, even in cases where termination is warranted. There have been serious issues with leadership, including inappropriate and unprofessional behavior by senior management, which created a toxic work environment. Although there were promises to resolve these issues and reduce certain individuals’ authority, they continue to have significant control, especially over HR. Promotions are rare unless you’re part of the inner circle, and poor decision-making continues to negatively impact project profitability and the company’s overall stability.
