Pros

If this were 10 years ago, I'd have a pretty good list of pros. But as of today and all the changes this company has made, I cannot list one good thing to list.

Cons

This company has ruined so many lives in the past 5 years! People that were loyal and hard working were just used and then let go. Once you hit 60, you can expect to be accused of just about anything and fired. Management is awful and it stems from the president of the company and his cold blooded attitude to people. You are not permitted to work any part time jobs to help pay your bills if you work for sm. If caught, you are fired. You belong to them 24/7. Benefits used to be top notch, but are average at best now. There are so many people in management that would never hold these positions in any other company. If you are the buddy to your manager, you are OK. Otherwise, expect to be treated badly and reviews are usually below average, no matter how hard you work. It's very common to find out a male manager is having inappropriate relation with other females in the office. Micromanagement is common from office managers that have no clue whats going on in oil and gas.

Pros

Had a Cadillac health insurance and had a 3 day weekend every other week.

Cons

Terrible managers. Managers got worse and worse each year. Wasn't uncommon for managers to belittle people under them. Several managers were involved in sexual activities with other employees. Micro management was common and it got worse and worse. I felt like I was back in the 3rd grade. If you had a problem with a manager there was nowhere to go for help. Contacting HR was a sure way to be fired. They were more like the SS in WW II. You couldn't trust anybody because there was so much cut throat going on by people trying to get ahead. Managers seemed to do whatever they wanted and seemed to answer to nobody. You weren't even allowed to have another part time job on your own time if you needed it to help get by. If discovered, you'd be fired.
