Pros
Remote team. Decent tech stack and deployment pipeline, though pipeline is missing testing, logging and has been that way for years, seemingly by design. Good amount of variation in projects, languages, frameworks.
Cons
Legacy systems are despised by the workforce. Tech lead is a petty tyrant. No input needed. No consensus. No professional respect. Tech lead will try to control virtually everything, including what IDE you are allowed to use. Don’t bother contributing ideas. They won’t be considered, even when superior to what is currently being done. Overly concerned with “budget” and “time-boxing” everything. Product company with agency-like time management. Meetings sound like one guy talking himself as 90% of the time is monopolized by a single person.
