Numerous rounds of layoffs Cut back of employee hours Cut out all employee perks (Bonus', flex schedule, PTO rollover) Now requires full time in office when it was 50/50 No longer matching 401k contribution Little in-office employee engagement and coordination between teams Lack of transparency with employees regarding financial updates for both projects and the office Poor project staffing Lack of transparency with clients, contractors and consultants over office/financial and staffing issues

The positive culture in this office is sustained by its people. The ongoing projects show significant promise and potential. It's an ideal environment for those starting their careers fresh out of school or aiming to explore the project coordinator role.

Cons

When I joined this firm, its culture was a major draw. However, over time, this positive environment gradually disappeared, largely due to a change in management. The onset of layoffs in 2022 and 2023 significantly affected employee morale, creating a disheartening atmosphere. Concurrently, numerous projects were paused due to economic challenges, resulting in financial strain. This hardship translated into the absence of bonuses, the removal of 401k matches, and negligible or absent salary increments for employees.
