      Pros

      Becoming a trusted safe human being to a child who has never known a safe person is a beautiful thing. Bringing peace and calm to a soul who has witnessed the worst is among my most cherished experiences. This place really does have a purpose and the people can be truly magic.

      Cons

      Violence really harms people and it can be exhausting to be positive among such deep trauma for a long period of time. It would be worth every moment if they could pay you the kind of money that would account for all of this trauma.
