Pros

Some team members were friendly and welcoming in the initial phases, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.

Cons

• The management team often engages in finger-pointing when problems arise. There’s little accountability at the top, and it’s clear that leaders are more focused on deflecting blame towards other team members. • Strategic direction is constantly shifting, making it difficult to understand long-term goals or to align efforts effectively. • Don’t expect a comprehensive orientation or proper training when you start. It’s a sink-or-swim environment from the start. The lack of structured support leads to a frustrating experience for new hires. Ghosted over introductory emails, attempts to bring in new ideas, and the sheer lack of responses or care from team members was extremely disappointing. • For marketing pros, you’re better off seeking career opportunities elsewhere. There’s no ownership or leadership in these departments, and “initiatives” often feel directionless or are overly saturated with promoting executive comms. Brand work is jumbled and standard work is non-existent. • Upper management communicates with vague, unclear statements that offer little substance. It often feels like they’re speaking in "word salad," making it difficult to understand their priorities or strategic decisions.

Pros

There's a lot of smart, driven and warm-hearted people here who want to support our dental practices throughout the country. There really are some good people here and it's not just a tagline. Folks take pride in their work, supporting each other and trying to make the company as good as we want it to be. It's a place where curiosity and taking extreme ownership in one’s work is recognized and appreciated. It’s a great vibe, a high-energy environment and a place where we’re doing meaningful work. I’ve worked in dental and other DSO's for a long time and I can genuinely say SALT is a quality organization. Proud to be a part of this company.

Cons

They say the gym is going to open in the building but still waiting for that to occur, first-world problems I guess…
