      They lure you in with bookings, then nada

      Pros

      An alternative to Vipkid. Better pay.

      Cons

      They just stop booking you after a month, even after you've converted trials. Then they send you a cut and pasted email telling you to open up your availability, even when your availability is wide open. They tell you that classes are few and far between, but little do they know that you belong to a group of working SayABC teachers. This is where you witness other teachers getting the bookings SayABC says they don't have. It's frustrating.

      JUST MONEY MAKING AND TIME TAKING COMPANY

      Pros

      Sayabc. Great company when you first sign up. The staff are so lovely, the process is moderately fast and the platform is great BUT it ends there.

      Cons

      I usually don't waste my time leaving reviews for companies. I have worked and had many bad experiences but this is by far the worst company. When I first got an interview for this company I read the reviews online which are great, yesterday I read the reviews again but clearer and they are ALL from teachers who have just started out. I have been working for them now for one month. The first week my schedule wasn't full but good. Now three weeks later I have taught 4 classes, that's it. Their scheduling system is automatic so it really doesn't matter how good of a teacher you are because it doesn't count when it comes to scheduling. I am so disappointed I have worked for some great online companies this sadly is not one of them. Please be warned before you sign with them. There are better online companies.       Pros

      I really love working at SayABC I am now a fully booked teacher. I would say I enjoy their interactive platform. Their lessons are engaging and they are affiliated with National Geographic so also very educational. There is no drama with this organization of having to promote yourself and do over the top teaching to gain hours. If you prove yourself to be responsible and reliable plus of course work hard, you will be rewarded with hours. The salary is great and I enjoy the bonuses for unit completion and trial bonuses. Lastly, they are welcoming of all ethnicities provided you are a native speaker and meet the qualifications. This is wonderful to work at an all inclusive organization where your merit not your color dictates your success.

      Cons

      The con would be the onboarding. My interviewer was great, but he was late. Also, I felt a bit tested during my training session, which made it a bit stressful. I would prefer that the company had a bit more patience and time put into the training, because it is a new platform and some teachers need more time to digest it. I would also like to see some more ongoing training available so that we may improve as teachers. Initially there were challenges with communication, but this is no longer an issue. SayABC has improved significantly in this matter and are replying in a timely matter.
