Upper management at the C level is a crap shoot. COO is toxic. For a company of this size, the level of petty behavior, stemming from the top, is abhorrent. Product has major flaws, and these never seem to truly get resolved. Product does not show well, and while the technology should be selling a lot better, it is clear as to why it does not. They will work the hell out of you, like it or not. Yes, it's a small company, but still. Compensation was competitive at first, but never changed in 2 years. Company's numbers were more or less stagnant over that period as well. Not a good sign. Mix 7-day work weeks with poor company performance and horrible upper management, and it's pretty far from a great work environment. Bottom line: if you like what you do, and want to be treated and valued as a professional, do not take a job with Scality.

Upper management. They put some of the wrong people in the wrong positions based on politics and personal friendships. There are some exceptions, I just haven't worked for them. Budgets are tight and they expect a lot, but yet upper management seems to have plenty of extra time in their lives. A lot more chiefs than indians. When we had our KO in Portugal and they had the leadership group on stage, almost half the company was up there.
