Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback, and we’re very sorry that your experience at Scitent wasn’t positive. Your comments to our leadership team are disappointing to hear. We are working to implement initiatives for capturing and evaluating feedback with management and continuing to search for the best way to allow for growth while moving the company forward. Our new VP of Operations has a background in engineering and has led a successful software analytics company. One of his key areas of focus is Product Management. To that end, we have implemented a product management tool that collects ideas from our whole team and maps specific efforts to strategic goals and objectives. The consistent use of this tool increases both internal accountability and the quality of our products. We have also implemented a Peer Advocacy Group to reinvigorate communication and trust between the management and the employees; this group helps capture and prioritize ideas or initiatives that we should start, stop, or keep. The group is made up of employees only and has been a great way for all of us to become aware of challenges and opportunities for improvement in all aspects of our business; it’s also been a great way to highlight the things we’re doing well. We appreciate your feedback. If you would like the opportunity to speak further with our CEO to address these concerns, please send us an email at HR@scitent.com. We will forward your email, and she will reach out to you directly.

Thank you for taking the time to offer your feedback. You’re right about Scitent having smart employees, and we feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work with such great people. We take pains to have the right person in the right role at all levels, with individuals who are committed to our core values. We also want to make sure that each of our employees feels like they have the opportunity to develop expertise in their own field through company-sponsored professional development and that they can collaborate with others in alternative areas to expand their knowledge base. Scitent has a long track record of filling positions internally, helping individuals grow into other positions, and being willing to nurture their growth to proficiency. We are also looking for opportunities to promote people for their domain expertise. Not all our promotions involve taking on management roles - many result in more responsibility, professional advancement, and of course, compensation. Family first is a value that resonates from the CEO to each department and each team member. It is very disappointing to hear that your experience did not reflect this and we will take a pulse check moving forward to determine if others feel the same way. We absolutely want our team members to know that family first is something we encourage and embrace. We have reinforced our product management in an effort to build out capabilities and maximize the opportunity to commercialize the products that we are building in-house. These efforts include a thorough assessment of how our technology products align with our company’s strategy and the market needs. We genuinely care about this company, our team members, and our customers, so thank you for your feedback, it really does make Scitent a better place to work. If you would like the opportunity to speak further with our CEO to address these concerns, please send us an email at HR@scitent.com, and she will reach out to you directly.

Pros

good pay benefits (gym membership/phone/macbook) employees are great Fun company events

Cons

C-level and upper management is fraught with nepotism and doesn't listen to employee feedback No business acumen (c-level or board) - the business is failing quickly No room for advancement - there is a glass ceiling that only friends can cross

Thank you for taking the time to offer your feedback. We’re encouraged to see your comments regarding our benefits, fair pay and our fun company events. We do appreciate our talented employees and work very hard to make fun and engagement a part of our culture. We will continue to encourage employees to participate and take ownership of our growing culture as we move forward. We are disappointed to hear your concerns. We believe that insufficient communication between the management and the team lies at the root of at least some of these concerns. The new executive team is working very hard to improve communication and build a culture that rewards employees for excellence. We are looking for opportunities to promote team members without necessarily adding management responsibilities to their job. We continue to seek ways to ensure that new ideas from anyone in the company can be heard. Our employee-only Peer Advocacy Group helps identify and prioritize ideas, initiatives, and activities that we should be focusing on or discontinuing. We believe that this group and other communication efforts will help flatten the ‘hierarchy’ at Scitent so that everyone can have their voice heard more clearly. Our business continues to hone the expertise within the company and align the skills that we have represented in our team with our business needs. We have exceptional people working at Scitent and we will continue to look for motivated, creative, and skilled team members as we go into the future. If you would like the opportunity to speak further with our CEO to address these concerns, please send us an email at HR@scitent.com and she will reach out to you directly.
