Pros

The few hard working engineers that made-do with the toxic situation.

Cons

If you like to work in a place where work-life balance is non-existent, senior management turns a blind eye at the issues with the product, a select few 'old timers' within the Company think they're the pinnacle of knowledge and thus can't be questioned, where going after new clients is more important than addressing the issues with clients to maintain client-loyalty, and, in turn, solution confidence...(and the list goes on...), then this is the place for you.

I am so sorry to hear about your experience while you were at Securonix. Please know – this is NOT at all what we are striving for and we are working tirelessly to change the culture of work-life harmony at Securonix. In fact, I was brought in as the Chief People Officer last summer to help with this. We are doing my best to listen, not just hear. I truly appreciate you bringing this feedback to our attention so we can continue to work on our balance and become our best version within the organization. Wishing you all the best! - Dilshan, Chief People Officer

Pros

Culture is good and there are many good people. Compensation is not bad. People are willing to help especially if you have established relationships. Leadership is empathetic.

Cons

Product is not stable, both On-prem and Cloud versions. This is a serious issue which the senior technical leadership has failed both customers and employees for the longest time. There is no dedicated Sustenance Engineering team that can focus on fixing bugs with the existing versions in a holistic way. As a result, each time something is fixed, another thing breaks. Post-sales technical support is virtually non-existent as the team is a makeshift group without adequate training or leadership that has technical support pedigree. Some regions suffer lack of adequate benefits for employees and are not thought-through prior to implementing. Senior HR leadership doesn't seem to care about it. Some people hold seamless power and make changes to the organization at will, which is affecting employee retention and morale, ultimately affecting customers in the wrong way.
