Head office is clueless. Set unrealistic goals for all their sites without any practical considerations. Extremely results-orientated. Arbitrarily create rules & regulations on a whim with no thought of knock-on effects to other departments. Zero communication with management. Employ managers & assistant managers with 0 experience of hotel & hospitality business.
Management is clueless. No understanding of logistics, planning, forward-thinking, common sense, basic mathematics, self-awareness. Extremely results-orientated yet complete ineptness of management to create a stable, organised, safe working environment ensures staff must work 5x harder than usual to achieve unrealistic targets in the shortest time possible, while still adhering to every rule and regulation which hurts productivity yet ensures the company avoids a potential lawsuit. Empty rhetoric and faux-friendliness masks a dictatorial, disrespectful and condescending attitude towards staff.
Deliberately bully students into removing negative reviews then claim the site is a "success". Lure students with false promises of free stuff then overcharge them with spurious fines to fleece more money out of them, cut every corner quality-wise to keep costs down in a purported 5* accommodation, claim site is a "financial success". Refuse to accept any constructive criticism nor entertain any notion the company is flawed in any way, shape or form.
In short, do not work here unless you are a professional masochist.
