If someone seems to be a danger or competition for someone else, they bully them until they leave the company by themselves but the person who bullied the person stays inside the company without even getting a warning letter and HR is protecting such behavior and even cheering for this person to get more responsibilities. - Saying they have a "open door policy" and "whistleblower process" but if you send an email to the ceo to this "whistleblower email" HR also receives it and protect their friends inside the company instead of taking actions towards it. Summary: If you are looking for a friendly and vibrant environment where you and your work are being appreciated with flexible working hours, room to grow and the company cares about you, you should better look for a different company and yes, they exist.
