Pros

None... except for maybe the schedule. If you start early, you will end early, but that can also change without warning, and you don't receive the schedule until Friday afternoon of the prior week.

Cons

Where do I begin....this is the most vindictive, cruel, spiteful, immature, and unprofessional group of "adults" that I have ever worked with in my life. They will all be nice to your face and then talk behind your back, and will sometimes go as far as putting it in writing to other employees. HR does not exist, and these people will do anything to make you look bad. The benefits are a joke (no 401K, bonus, stock options) and you will often find that you are chasing down your paycheck. They hire you for something completely different than what the job is described as, and they will do anything to cover themselves, including asking you to lie on their behalf. You do not get paid vacation until after a year, and when you finally are able to request it, you will more than likely be waiting for weeks to get a response. I can not stress enough how awful it is to work here. There is no room for growth and management does not want to see you succeed.

Pros

Almost none. The only pro is that there are scheduled shifts, so you if you're scheduled for a 7am shift, you are out of the office by 3:30PM. But you could just as likely be scheduled for a 12PM shift, in which case you are not out until 9PM. They don't give out the weekly schedules until usually the Friday before, so you can't even plan your week until then. You are required to let them know of any appointments or obligations you may have AFTER your shift time - in case they need to change your shift time LAST MINUTE (usually the day before). And if you get sick or need to call out mid-week, they will punish you for it by making you switch to a later shift (if you aren't already scheduled for one).

Cons

Where do I start? They are cheap, there is no room for growth (they will keep an employee in his/her position for over 5-6 years without a promotion and only 1-2% raises every year OR TWO), they are vindictive and cruel, they care far more for themselves and their benefits before their employees, they make a big deal out of little things, and overall they are awful people. The upper management is by far one of the worst I have ever seen. They are quick to take money OUT of your paycheck (should you choose to take an unpaid vacation day or if you sign up for their insurance, for example) but it takes them weeks to add ones raise amount to ones paycheck - even beyond the date they stated it would go into effect. There are no benefits (no 401K, stock options etc). I really cannot stress enough how awful this company is to work for and I could go on and on with a laundry list of grievances but I will end it at: Do not work here.

Don’t believe the FAKE “positive” reviews. Everything that is described in all the negative reviews is true and it goes back to 2015 if you read all of them. What is the common denominator…the manager. She is the only constant factor that has led to all the negative feedback. Her dictator style of “leadership”, lack of communication, insecurity, and master of manipulation skills has led to the highest turnover rate I have ever seen in the short time I worked here. She has literally driven people to quit on their first day. Yes, even when the Governor is telling everyone to stay home, and roads are flooded and trains are not working, because there is a blizzard or hurricane, you are expected to come to work at 6am and she is texting and calling you to make sure you are there. She insisted on one staff member sleeping overnight at the office on an air mattress that had a hole in it, while his newborn baby and young daughter were at home with his wife, so he could be there to open the office. From the beginning of the pandemic throughout, we were expected to be there, all day, every day, while everyone else – including her, was working from home. When some of us got Covid, SHE decided from her home, who should quarantine. She purposely would tell people to get tested right away if they were exposed, so they would get a negative result and come back to work. We did not get the schedule until Fridays, so we could never make plans or doctor appointments. She took days, sometimes a week to approve time off. Ideas, projects, and presentations that you created were stolen and became her idea, project, or presentation. She never learned the art of conversation because she cut you off with every sentence and talked over you. Don’t dare tell her anything personal because the entire company will know. During one department meeting over the phone, she was discussing a colleague’s family member’s surgery and asking about his test results. She is the queen of favoritism – if you are a “yes man” she will treat you very different than if you just come in to do your job. If you send her a document that needs approval, she will hold onto it and send it back after hours, so you are forced to send it out late. She had the audacity to get mad at a colleague who needed time off to get surgery during the Christmas week when business is at its slowest, and said, “you should have asked us first for permission.” Who asks their boss to get surgery??!! She provided no training, so we all had to learn on our own which caused inconsistency. I can go on and on, you get the point.
