Pros

Low stress, 9-5 dev job that gets your foot in the industry.

Cons

Abysmal pay, (I started at $16/hr as a developer with a Bachelor's in Computer Science and nearly a year of experience), with much more responsibility than your job title suggests. CEO is a control-hungry narcissist that makes every moment around him uncomfortable. Software team is made of people that either have low morale and are just trying to get enough experience to leave, or are family men that just want a job where they can browse Reddit from 9-5.

Pros

Product is one of the best CRMs for service companies out there.

Cons

CEO's sanity has been steadily degrading over the years, not a safe workplace for young people (those under 30).

Pros

I had a great time working alongside the team of people at ServiceMonster. It's a fast-paced environment with friendly folks who are competent and motivated.

Cons

There is an old-school patriarchy vibe from the management which manifests in weird ways, sometimes in the form of public belittling or exerting control. Not all the time, but every once in awhile, and definitely part of the reason I left.
