Pros

- good pay when compared to other similar companies - discounted meal if you work minimum hours, free meal if you work long shifts - they’ll pay for your food certificate

Cons

- managers who seem to not work well under time pressure, constantly angry during peak hours to the point where some older staffs warn the newer staff about said rude managers and tell newer staff not to worry when the managers yell at you. i don’t think that should be normalised. - shift allocation prioritises the more experienced as they mass hire, so may start off with only weekend shifts available/allocated to new staff - personal opinion: quite boring as you’re most likely stuck with the same particular job for your entire shift (i.e. if you’re allocated buns, you’ll do buns for the entire day). can be a pro for those who prefer focusing on 1 job per day

Pros

discounted staff meal, nothing much else

Cons

branch managers are extremely biased, often sarcastic and negligent towards quieter/less popular staff. they also do not care much for the welfare of their employees. very unapproachable, sometimes not even bothering to offer the staff meal to less popular staff. toxic environment with unpleasant colleagues to work with. colleagues are clique-ish and go out of the way to gossip about and ostracise newer team members. they are also largely unkind towards newer staff, and do not bother to offer constructive feedback when one messes up, taking to badmouthing about these staff instead.

Pros

Friendly staff Work life balance schedule. 44 hours work week, even though ot are expected

Cons

Trainers gets transfered when new outlets opened. Lack of trainers means that staff have little rotation, staffs gets same role daily. Gender bias- Guys gets choosen for most labor intensive roles. Some managers hide necessary information such as medical claim procedure from the staff. Staff meal not provided. Could be purchased at a discount but limted to 1 set. Detailed training SOP but weak training schedules that are not followed closely.
