Pros

Very hard working teams, apparently not very bright as they are still giving more than 100% You are always engaged in something new and keep upgrading

Cons

Management is a bully and enforces things that are out of policy, My way or the highway is followed, and logical reasoning is not valued, Actions of management show that employees are disposable and don’t have any say in any matter. Fear of upsetting management is always at the back of your mind. Every product suddenly comes and becomes high priority and needs to be delivered within non deliverable time. Once or twice is understandable but every product follows the same pattern of unbelievably shot time to deliver, clear indication of lack of understanding of development methodology by the rulers. Among all the personal time that is spent and invested in this company, only disappointment is received in return. Apart from this, employees are asked to review own product, post on social media and are rewarded. These rewards(chocolates and donuts) do come on time, unlike the rewards of hard working and delivering things on time. Third party contractor team kept who are taking thousands of dollars for their irresponsible work, while the in-house employee who are dealing with these unprofessional employees, plus cleaning their mess, plus doing their job also at times are getting disappointment in return.

Pros

Competent engineers who demonstrated their technical expertise and skills.

Cons

-My initial excitement was quickly dampened when I realized that many promises made during the hiring process were not going to be fulfilled. -I joined without a clear project or team assignment, leaving me directionless and without a sense of purpose. -The company's mismanagement of resources is evident as some employees were overworked while some found themselves with no productive tasks to contribute to. This inconsistency created a disappointing work environment and resulted in wasted 6 months of my time, with little improvement in sight. -Sadly I had to move on as I could not sit and wait for the company to find what it actually wants to do in the market. -What’s even more sad is that I am not the only one in the company that have suffered. Seems that the whole tech team is unhappy but waiting for something that doesn’t seem to be coming their way. I recommend don’t keep waiting, start getting ready for your next endeavors, this is not how companies run out there.

Pros

Salaries on time Lot of projects to work on

Cons

Am deeply disappointed with my experience at Shory. My time here has been marked by a lack of transparency and fairness when it comes to appraisals, along with glaring issues in management and work-life balance. Despite my dedicated efforts and consistent performance, the company's failure to provide a timely and meaningful appraisal has left me feeling undervalued and demotivated. The lack of communication and clarity around the appraisal process is disheartening and erodes trust in the organization. Furthermore, the management at Shory has been nothing short of disappointing. The disconnect between the leadership and the employees is evident in the way decisions are made without considering the impact on the team. The lack of support, guidance, and open communication has contributed to a toxic work environment. Equally distressing is the work-life balance, or rather the lack thereof. The excessive workload and unrealistic expectations have taken a toll on my mental and physical well-being. The constant pressure to deliver without adequate resources or time has led to burnout, impacting not only my productivity but also my overall quality of life. In conclusion, my experience at Shory has been marred by a lack of appraisal, poor management practices, and an imbalanced work-life equation. It's disheartening to see a company that doesn't prioritize the well-being and growth of its employees. I hope that my review serves as a wake-up call for the company to reassess its priorities and make significant improvements for the sake of its employees' morale and overall success
