Pros

Decent benefits and work/life balance. I have a great mentor that listens and stretches me. He has vast experience outside of "agencies" and truly cares about passing on that knowledge.

Cons

Huge disconnect from Leadership to the rest of the team. Leadership continues to try to push the agency in directions and stretch the vision with blinders on. Males on the leadership team are constantly degrading to women and look to them not as equals, but as objects for their entertainment.

Pros

For the most part, the people are pretty cool. And the kitchen. And I like the fireplace in the winter ... it's a nice touch.

Cons

Senior management clearly plays favorites. There is zero long-term career growth opportunities unless you're regaled by management as one of their favorites. Great creative work is held up by egos. Not enough emphasis is put on the strategy behind the work. The processes are a joke (i.e. what processes?!). And compared to other area agencies, the pay is less for the same titles and workloads. And worst of all, there is absolutely no diversity among the employees.

Sheep claiming to not be sheep

Pros

Some nice people. Lots of catered lunches and employee getaways. You could do much worse for a job in this area of the country.

Cons

SHS needs to learn the Western phrase "All hat, no cattle." This is a very average agency that continually claims to be change agents with their slogan "We Hate Sheep." They should follow their own advice. Look at the work on their website. Besides some really nice stuff for one or two clients, everything is above average at best. And you can imagine how weak the stuff is that doesn't make it on the website. Inside the agency, ideas were dumbed-down for no reason. Disorganized and irresponsible staff. Little-to-no communication. Lies and dishonesty.
