Behemoth company avoids transparency like the plague, while insulting the intelligence of team members by claiming to be a shining beacon of ethics and fairness. Toxic work culture. Insanely high standards leads to abusive and micromanaging behavior from superiors. The system for reporting harassment and other toxic behaviors is severely broken; when you call their T.I.P.S. line to report something, they immediately send it to the manager of whoever you complained about, and then they sit down and listen to the recording together. So whoever you reported will immediately identify you by your voice, and know exactly what you said. No real punishment for retaliation, despite all the lip service. This company says they're moving in a different direction to make their employees happier, but it's just talk. Nothing has changed and nothing is going to change. Pay rate is pathetic as well. Even with our ridiculous discount, we still can't afford to buy any of the jewelry we work on/sell. Half my shop has evacuated the building and the other half is literally. physically sick with stress and anxiety.
