Pros

There can pros for a company whose management knows something worthwhile, or atleast knows something. Management here does not care about your growth or anything else. All they want is to earn money. They fire anyone anytime, without explanations, I have seen this during my tenure.

Cons

List goes on and on 1) Flexible timing is just a word here. You have to work more than your pre defined working hours. No value for your personal life. 2) They say free food, just to show the only single benefit to employees (No trips, no outings, no yearly tours, nothing happens here that may give a break from your hectic and stressfull life of the company) 3) Employees are appreciated only in terms of chocolates that too only in Diwali (No bonus, no gifts, no hampers or anything that may make you feel special as an employee) 4) People fired from other reputed and well-known companies become Tech lead and Project managers here 4) Management is not serious when it comes to your career. I have literally overheard 2 management people talking rubbish about employees 5) All management people roam guilt free, doing everything wrong and messing up things around. They think they have done a very good job building the company. But this is just a mirage. They are very very far to understand this. 6) Management does not have experience of working anywhere else. They do whatever they want with anybody in the company. They actually do not know how things operate in an IT atmosphere 7) They fire anybody anytime. Experienced and highly respected people in the industry are either fired here or they themselves leave the company in few months 8) But there is a catch, if you are friends with the management, like some project managers or account managers or team leads, congrats. Nothing can harm you. Not even God can get you out of this company. People who do not have any idea regarding their work, they are surviving because they are friends 9) They hire employees through poaching. Once they hire you, either you become their slave or get fired. Innovations and creativity aren't well received by the management 10) Management is caught up in their own sweet little world. They roam around, have fun and go home. You literally have to beg to talk to CTO or BA head 11) Do not expect to be treated as a good employee if you are honest and hard working. If you are good at showoff, you will be appreciated. Management is so inexperienced and lethargic, they do not know how to check quality of your creativity or job done 12) In terms of processes and work, during my tenure I have not seen a single project that is completed. Company takes deposit from the clients so even if the quality is not good, client remains clueless about the next steps 13) Not a single client is satisfied, as there are no clients that have projects completed. They demand their payments back, which management never does 14) Micromanagement is at it peaks. Every single thing you do is being watched and talked upon. Later on they fight with you on petty issues 15) CEO knows things, but goes with the flow as other management people are his partners 16) Everything around Blockchain, IoT and AR/VR over company's website is fake. They do not have any clients other than that of Mobile apps. They do not know what is trending in the market or how to grow an organisation in terms of technology 17) Management believes a company gets bigger by adding more number of employees. More they add, more they fire for no reason 18) People fired from here are tech leads and managers in highly reputed organisations. Management does not know how or in which direction they should move someone for the betterment of the team and company as a whole Please do not join the company if you are looking to learn something or explore new technologies in your careee. This company is going nowhere in future. They might either shut down the company or may remain the same for eternity. Points that I have mentioned above are just the tip of an iceberg. If you are going somewhere else in a reputed organisation, they would not have heard the name of this company. Better do not get lost in this jungle.

Pros

Look beyond the sweet talk there are only cons. other reviews that talk good about this company are fake as no one really likes this company. it used to have good name but management run huge politics and fire people without reason

Cons

Fake: everything you read on the website is fake. initially i was impressed by looking at the website. but when i joined i saw that they do nothing that was on the website. ask them about the size of project they work on i am sure they won’t be able to lie in front Pay: When i worked there, my pay was way less than my team members. I was good but each new less experience hire comes with more salary. there are no standards. management will never meet and discuss the matter as well. if you question them they will raise your salary but only if you question them. Else management is happy paying you less than 40% of what they are paying to anyone else. once you put your resignation on the table, they will again give you a raise. why? was i not worthwhile before? do i have to beg for what i deserve? No work culture: half day is spent on meetings, no focus on work. no way to learn more and improve. everyone knows nothing. Management are a bunch of mid level micromanagers. when asked about what to learn, they just tell us to read books. Seriously? is this a college? what does “read books” means? which books? when you ask them this questions they wont be able to answer. even training material is not great. nothing that makes you a true software professional in industry. no appraisal system and no way to show quality code in appraisal. it is frustrating. honestly do something about it Projects: I was here for less time but developers are working on the same projects since years and years. no large projects and a really large number of failed projects. no project i worked for was finished on time. Clients are always questioning us, project managers are okay, but technical management is pathetic. technical managers will blame you for failures, even though they are the one that knows nothing and project timeline was improperly set with developers having to jump between projects. Multiple projects but same developer: you will work on multiple projects randomly, everyone want you to work on their project. random assignment reduce quality of work. and no one care for quality here. tells you a lot about this company poor company culture: managers and senior management talk poorly about developers. we have heard them talk so many time. we are not stupid. senior management talks nice in front but is two face in reality. this was my first ever firm where someone called me a “resource” to my face. Am i a resource to you? that’s how shameful senior management is. when I interviewed here, no body has actually told me that i was going to work for another company as a “resource”. this is just cheap! Forget about learning: during my entire time, i never learned something new from this company as we never worked on anything challenging. i would admit this, to work better and get better raise, i had to rely on my talking skills as nobody here knows anything and they can’t judge you based on that. i am so grateful that i no longer work for this company. nothing for a developer to face challenge, nothing, just same old website type stuff and low quality mobile apps.

Thank you so much for the feedback. Our policy at Simform is to take every feedback we get at face value. Assume them to be 100% correct and work our way towards fixing issues mentioned. Only way to keep improving. Having said that, I want to refute your statement that all the reviews (good or bad) are fake. We simply don’t do that. From 2010 onwards, over 300 people have worked at Simform (currently approx 200 working) so if we wanted to get fake reviews it would not be difficult. There are even fake review services. You can see that with many of our competitors. Once again, I thank you for all the you did for us. We take your feedback as a guide and consider it as a checklist for us to keep improving.
