Smart individual contributors and fully remote work environment
Cons
The CEO leads with fear and intimidation and no one tells her the truth, which doesn’t matter because she wouldn’t hear it.

We appreciate all feedback and take comments and perspectives seriously.
For clarity, the reviewer was with the company for approximately 18 months. Like many organizations, we have had to make difficult business decisions, including reductions in force that affected multiple departments. These decisions are never easy, and we recognize the frustration and emotions that can accompany such transitions.
We are proud of our people, past and present, and remain committed to fostering a respectful, supportive, and collaborative culture. We wish all former team members the very best in their future endeavors.
Slone has been my professional home for the past 13 years. Like any organization, there have been both challenges and successes along the way. What has kept me grounded and committed through it all is the people. The individuals at Slone truly make a difference not only in the lives of our clients and candidates, but also in each other’s. In all my years of work experience, I have never encountered a group more dedicated, compassionate, and driven to make a meaningful impact.
Cons
One of Slone’s greatest strengths can also be it's weakness. The deep compassion of its people means they care immensely and consistently give their time, energy, and heart to their work, sometimes to the point of overextending themselves because of their strong commitment to the company and its mission.
The tenure across the company says a lot. People stay because they enjoy the environment and the work. You also get exposure to high-level roles in life sciences and healthcare, which makes the work feel meaningful and impactful. Leadership is not only approachable across the board but truly thoughtful and supportive. They take the time to listen, value input, and create an environment where people feel trusted and respected. It is clear they care about the team as individuals, not just as employees, which makes a big difference in the day-to-day experience.
Cons
No cons from me or else I would not still be here after 8 years ! It says a lot when our average tenure is currently 10 years and counting.
