Worst company to work in

Pros

The colleagues are collaborative and friendly and the salary is good. Nothing else for the Pros.

Cons

1. Micromanagement is the culture of this company. You will get tons of ad-hock tasks all of a sudden while doing the scheduled work by your manager 2. Firing culture is very much common 3. No career growth and time for learning. Actually, there is always a rush for new tasks. But they will not give you time for your self-improvement 4. Overtime every day. The management expects employees will work day and night for the business but they never care about the employee. 5. Absolutely no increment. At the time of increment, the management will show huss and fuss attitude and the salary will never be incremented. They even don't provide the yearly inflation of the country. 6. You will be a slave with high salary. No biscuits, coffee, meals in the office. I have never seen such a company in my lifetime who is this much poor. 7. There will be tons of works for every team but there will be one or two employees per team. You will do work of 10 people but will get paid for only one. 8. Bad politics are emerging from all corners

Pros

Some good people work for this company

Cons

In short: * Toxic atmosphere, no sense of respect. * High employee turnover. People are constantly being fired, and some leave on their own. * Everyone gets cheated out of their last paycheck. Meanwhile, Chris Piche is buying real estate and cars in Dubai using these money. * The company holds the record for employee complaints at DMCC. * Constant rush, and you’ll often be switching from task to task. * Micromanagement from the technical director, Chris, and the PM. * Deadlines for tasks are always shorter than needed. * You can be fired at any moment without explanation. * They can also withdraw the offer a day before your start date. This startup, which has been struggling for 5 years without taking off, is still in the red. It’s a place where lies, disrespect for employees, and rudeness from the owner of the company are the norm. Broken cups, a hole in the window from a water bottle—these are Chris’s actions when he was angry. You will never have 1-on-1 meetings with a manager, and there are no team-building events. One day, you’ll just get an email about your termination with no explanation. I can confidently recommend this company to my worst enemies. I also wish Chris and Mohamed to always be surrounded by people just like themselves! HR: Al Najar. This is the person from whom the lies start about the company's great ambitions and your incredible prospects. This rat will promise you everything you want: career growth, interesting projects, a future team lead position, or even principal, above-market salary, shares, benefits—whatever it takes to get you to accept the offer. He knows that in a couple of months, Chris will fire you if he feels like it. If you look at the employees' titles on LinkedIn, most of them are Principals, Heads of Department, or Team Leads. I hope you understand (The head of a one-person department).. CEO: A typical tyrant who hates people. He will never ask you how you're doing. For him, people are slaves. In March, he delayed salaries by 11 days just to show who's in charge. Upon termination, he cheats everyone out of their last paycheck and intimidates people so they won’t file complaints. I'm on that list too. I believe he also misuses investor money, spending it on luxury real estate and expensive cars. Office: An old business center, 43rd floor, with long elevator wait times (sometimes you won’t even want to go down for lunch). The office has the cheapest desks, very noisy ventilation, and bad chairs, with broken door handles. The kitchen is 3 square meters in size, with Nescafé 3-in-1 coffee and sugar in a jar from instant coffee. If you want a decent coffee, you’ll have to go downstairs to the café; if you want tea, bring your own. They don’t even have a microwave or a fridge. You’ll be eating at your desk. PS: For those whom Chris hasn’t paid, don’t be afraid of him. Open a dispute with DMCC, it’s not difficult. They will guide you on the next steps. If the amount the company cheated you out of is less than 60,000 AED, MOHRE's decision is final, and you won’t need to go to court or hire a lawyer. So don’t be afraid to stand up for your rights! SmartetAI and its owner Chris Piche are a disgrace to the country!

Pros

No pros of working in Smarter AI

Cons

This may feel like a review from an ex employee who was told to leave but I’m posting this to save someone else from what I faced. Don’t resign from a good paying job cus Chris/charnjit/smarter Ai management has given you offer letter with market above salary. Offer letter means nothing legally and this man is abusive. I mean abusive to the point you will feel like ending your misery if he doesn’t already fire you.
