Pros

There are always new challenges, most of the the result of poor management practices, but nevertheless, yo do get to test yourself. This also opens the possibility to raise within the company really fast, as you usually have to solve the problems it gets into.

Cons

Too messy, unorganised and always improvising. There is no planning and resources are exploited to the max. I guess that is how profit is made. When sales don't go as planned, your bonus suffers, so there are years when it will be irrelevant if you busted your behind, you will not be financially recognised for it.

Zero accountability from certain people you will end up working with, after a while you start noticing some nepotism, work life balance doesn‘t exist
