Pros

Food stipend and 50% discount.

Cons

Ask yourself? Why are they constantly hiring? HIGH TURNOVER. Managers don't show up to shifts and push off their work to the new hires. Blatant favoritism in promotions, unrealistic work expectations. They don't want to pay for the hours so they'd rather we get there 30 minutes before open and rush to do the bank, days' orders, and restocking new product. Fingers crossed production or tech doesn't mess up or else …

Pros

The team was awesome, outside of the team directly was a ton of folks who care for themselves and their needs first. No teamwork what so ever. Just blocked off departments and the constant need for “work culture” with no actual change or follow through.

Cons

Everything else. Management - horrible Exec (minus CEO) - horrible They only care for bottom line not the people like they used too

Pros

The product is great. Whatever is two days out gets donated to homeless charities. Employees get to take home a lot of the food too, and if they're buying it fresh they get a great discount. $10 hourly starting for FOH, with room for raises and upwards mobility. They are great with students and scheduling around busy schedules. Plenty of hours.

Cons

Uppity, snobby culture. The management is elitist. Very white, very upper-middle-class. They take themselves WAY too seriously... the manuals & training process for this place is ridiculous. The men sexually harass the young female FOH and no one bats an eye. Management is quite racist. A friend of mine quit because the manager made an inappropriate comment about being Mexican. When she complained, the manager didn't receive any disciplinary action, was just moved to a different store. Everyone in BOH is of color and I saw on multiple occasions them being harassed for not speaking english well enough. Everyone in the BOH was so nice to me, it hurt to see them treated that way. The FOH employees are treated terribly, the turnover rate is high. You are catering to people who are willing to spend buckloads of money on organic, pre-made food. A lot of very rude and entitled customers.
