Pros

Work from home Fridays, Dog-Friendly office, Friendly & talented co-workers, Office in the Strip District.

Cons

When I first started I was told there was a low turn-over rate, plenty of room for growth, and that there was a thought out plan to expand which meant more money & stock options for all the employees. Fast forward to a year from now and more than half of the company has now been laid off. Departments do not seem to work together on major projects, Marketing & Sales especially. Poor decision making from the top has caused this company to go under, and fast. What was once considered one of the best places to work in Pittsburgh has now become a place where people fear if they will have a job when they walk into the doors. I was there for a little over a year and in that time I saw 4 lay offs including letting go the original CEO. When the new CEO was named everyone was excited and thought the company would bounce back. It took 6 months before almost hitting rock bottom. I think it is due to a number of reasons: Not knowing what the entire job would entail, not being involved enough with every department at the company, not being approachable (because it seemed like she was always leaving early). It's sad, the product is great, the employees loved working there and would have worked hard to keep the company going, but I think it's too late to save the company now.

Pros

The product is second to none, plus it helps independent retailers and small businesses, so that is a huge plus. Also, company culture is great with a hip, fun team environment. Everything is trending up with new features to the product and lots of partners who want to work with the company.

Cons

Some internal systems need to be updated and synced. As far as the office goes, parking is sometimes challenging and there isn't too much natural light.
