Pros

Working at this company can mean always stress for meeting deadlines, leading to burnout. Opportunities for growth are limited, and competition in the company is strong from two main developers but not in a good way. Other devs felt stuck also. Salary is good, the demanding work-life balance - not there. Hierarchy in management causing issues are obvious. There is no chance of updating tech skills, causing no development for future. Considering all this, working here might not be worth it.

Cons

Big boss not being around means no clear direction, making everyone confused. Without supervision, people might slack off or do bad stuff. It feels like no one cares, and teamwork suffers. Decisions take forever, and the company can't handle problems well. So, it's tough when the boss is MIA. No product vision or strategy. No plan what everyone will being doing next week etc.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate your honesty and regret that your experience with us has fallen short of what we would want. Employee well-being is of paramount importance to us, and mitigating the stresses that a start-up environment can bring is something we take seriously. We acknowledge that there have been times when the team has needed to come together and push to complete key projects. As a start-up positioned to revolutionise the travel industry, there are times when we need to meet critical deadlines. However, it is concerning to hear that this has led to burnout, which is not something we want any employee to experience. We are specifically addressing how we can avoid this while finding the balance to ensure we continue to hit our goals. We also recognise the importance of providing opportunities for skill development and professional growth. Our modern tech stack continuously evolves, ensuring we stay current and innovative, and we welcome input from staff at all levels on how we can leverage new technologies to advance our offerings. We also prioritise promoting from within, with numerous examples across the business demonstrating this commitment. We acknowledge the lack of clear direction you faced at the time of your review. As a growing start-up, we needed to improve in this area. Over the past few months, we have worked hard to implement a new way of working to provide clear, decisive direction. We are starting to see positive impacts from these changes, and we thank you for your honest feedback, which has been instrumental in helping us address and fix this issue.
