Pros

great flexibility, cost savings , and wider talent pools, but can suffer from isolation, distractions, tech issues, and blurred work-life boundaries

Cons

Outsourcing means you lose control, maybe a little, maybe a lot. It will be more complicated to make the kinds of changes and corrections you have been used to making. Plus, outsourced help desk providers differ in their level of flexibility.

Pros

Culture, people, and events are fun. Truly has the small company "family" feel to it. Shout out to Jeff K, though, the only manager to make it bearable.

Cons

Pay. Benefits. No OT. They spend 5M on new equipment but can't get any entry/mid-level position to a market-average rate.
