Beware of CEO/Owner and Affiliated Companies/Missions

Pros
Benefits are solid. I do believe the owner wants to do the right thing regardless of past/future outcomes.
Cons
The company and owner can't seem to succeed with any type or amount of talent that is brought in. False promises regarding pay/raise/bonuses, tremendous HR violations, and an unstable culture are all things to expect. A few employees (family and family friends) have been there more than a year but everyone else gets canned within 6 months.

The employees themselves are wonderful people. Free lunch and soft drinks. Good get togethers. Good technology space to work in.
Cons
Owner micromanages every aspect of your time when you wake up to when you go to sleep 7 days a week. Bonuses and pay raises are not given as “promised”. If you expect a certain pay, get that upfront as your salary. Unlimited vacation day is not a blessing...stay away from that offer if you can.
