Pros
Charlottesville is a great location. Work provides ample opportunities for resume worthy projects. Startup structure and all the benefits that entails. The people in the trenches are very smart and fantastic to work with. Healthcare options are great. Lots of opportunities to learn here. Great place to start or build upon your career.
Cons
Great disconnect between top management and everyone else, although they are making a good effort/progress at fixing that. Hours can be long for certain teams and grossly disproportionate with the salary offered. Some in upper management can be unprofessional at times and lash out at other team members, but there is virtually no HR. Not a great place to make your career.
