Company is on shaky ground. Lots of layoffs. Some mangers/leaders are great, but the B2C side of the company is not well managed or organized.

I was laid off very quickly after being hired which destabilized my entire life and caused my mental health to tank. I felt deeply unsupported and like I could not be honest about my situation for fear of making people “feel bad” when it was my life that was ruined, not theirs. I know that’s a pretty typical experience for people who have been laid off, but at a company like this that claims to care about people, you would hope that they would at least try to do better. All talk of what was happening to me was swept under the rug. In fact, before I was laid off as a full time employee, there was an all hands meeting where they announced contractor layoffs and a high ranking executive claimed the company was “safe” now. That was blatantly untrue as two more rounds of layoffs followed. The executives are deeply dishonest people, which is pretty ironic.
