Pros
Seems glamorous and exciting at first and you can easily get swept up in it. However, all that starts to fade and you'll lose your passion for your work. Coworkers are immensely talented, supportive and friendly. Freelance talent was great to work with. Pay was decent, but no bonuses or raises.
Cons
This is a dishonest company that is poorly managed. You will work hard and do your best, but your ideas will always go unheard or not taken seriously, so eventually you'll just give up trying to make things better. Management will never admit mistakes and will readily blame lower level employees. Don't be surprised if you get embarrassed/reprimanded by management in front of a freelancer either. I've seen it and it's awkward. They will promise endless opportunities but you will probably be stuck in your same job for years. Or they may have you do a completely different job than the one you were hired to do. They will also take it personally when/if you leave and be rude/disrespectful/unprofessional about it. HR is extremely unhelpful. You seriously have to harass them to get an answer, even about benefits and insurance for new hires. I've never seen such an inept HR dept. Splashlight is not a large company and I heard of at least six people quitting within a one year span. It's just not worth all the stress and bad management. Don't work here.
