Frequent layoffs, high employee turnover, no transparency
Pros
There were three rounds of layoffs over four years, and notably, each one happened just a few months after company retreat trips—to Turkey, Gdańsk, and Georgia. The company seems to have a pattern: spend money on parties and team bonding, then “optimize” staff afterward. Frequent overtime, a lack of appreciation, and high turnover across all departments say a lot. Things are especially chaotic in product management and engineering.
Cons
Five years ago, it was a completely different company—everyone was motivated, and there was a real sense that the CEO valued people and inspired them by example. But then things went downhill: everything became non-transparent, there’s a strange culture where the word “shit” gets thrown around, and there have been hidden layoffs.
