The Account Administration department lacked leadership and proper training. You're thrown into the mix and expected to know how to deal with certain construction lingo or how to fix issues that someone that doesn't have the proper training or understanding of this world would get lost in. You don't get your own computer tower, you work off of a server of sorts that runs incredibly slow which makes your job incredibly difficult. Employee retention seems to be incredibly low and so is morale; everyone here seems miserable. I shadowed a person who was only 2-3 months in this role and felt that the company didn't really care about my success because I was expected to learn this job from a person that was still learning/not very good at his job. There really doesn't seem to be clear cut training program here.

Honestly I'm not sure where to start so first I'll flip the coin on the list of Pros. I learned so much because my department went from 4 people to one person, (me) in less than nine months of being employed there. Instead of hiring a replacement or two, I was given the extra mountain of work. My supervisor was herself overworked and her supervisor's expectations have been nothing short of RIDICULOUS. You cannot trust the upper management to keep their WRITTEN words and follow through. I spoke to "someone," in the top 3 about a confidential medical condition. That information was immediately communicated to several of my peers. So my Hipaa rights were violated even as they used hipaa to justify not telling anyone that the person who worked right next to them had Covid. Speaking of Covid, the company has failed to enact and successfully carry through with any kind of procedure or policy with any consistency. The lack of essential communication from above and their consistent failure to act with integrity are the reasons I left the company and the reason I'm taking the time to review them.
