Workload is depressing, too many claims and emails for one person to reasonably handle and provide the quality and timeliness that’s expected (the amount of emails received/addressed per day is a full workload by itself), extremely high turnover in claims- many don’t last a year, managers consistently ignore concerns of adjusters and do little to address the real issues, forced to clock in/out using Skype (now Teams) and micromanaged, disconnect between managers and adjusters, agency does not follow their own vision when it comes to lower level staff, ability to work from home but no true work life balance, have to work unpaid overtime just to keep up, told to reach out to other burned out adjusters for help with workload, managers threaten write ups and adverse actions when you can’t keep up with the unrealistic demands, CEO and upper management seem to be aware of the issues but no change in sight. The irony of working for workers comp when MANY could easily qualify for stress leave.
