Pros

I think Statflo really cares about maintaining an honest and respectful culture, and it shows in the work they give you and how passionate the team is for success. There are a lot of hard working people who are trying their best who may not be used to a startup culture but they are making the best of what they have. As the company grows I think theres a huge potential for long term success!

Cons

We've had some bad apples that were demotivating, but now that they are gone that solves all the issues I've had

Pros

I have been working here for just under a year and can say this much: As far as startups go, Statflo does a few things right. They have a great office space with amazing views, an awesome and super talented team of people working for them, perks such as company outings and weekly team lunches not to mention a state of the art Nespresso machine and a Starbucks coffee machine plus a fully stocked kitchen. The CEO is energetic and he tries to share company vision and goals with the rest of the team. However, he only shares about 60% of it. Which, given other companies, is still better than most. He seems to care about certain people and if you are one of those, you have it made here. The product is a great product and some of their clients are the best in the industry. Everyone working on the product is young and ambitious and super smart and as such, are great fun to work with. Benefits package is pretty decent and the only thing missing is a pension plan and vision coverage!

Cons

To give a fair assessment, the key issue within Statflo lies with the executive team. With the exception of 1-2 executives, the rest of the individuals serving on the board are either not ready for leadership, immature or completely unsupportive. They do not make you feel appreciated at all and you do not feel like they will support you in any of your ideas. Another issue is the way we hire and fire people. We always tend to hire the wrong individuals in the higher positions who then do no work. These same 'bad eggs' then get to choose what area of the company they want to work in while the rest of us hard-working people get forced into a job we do not want. This leads to a lot of people quitting or if the execs made a bad hire on a jr level, they are quick to fire. Since I have started we have lost over 10 people already and 5 of them were within a month. It is a shame because if management cared more about these individuals, we would be unstoppable as a company. Salary is below average for the most part. It is a startup and they will try to take advantage of your 'youth' to pay you less and then shift you into a more demanding role without a raise. You will have to negotiate well before accepting a job here and make sure you get everything documented or else you will never see a raise or bonus.

Pros

Most of the pro'ss have already been discussed in previous reviews such as location, view, flex working hours, wfh etc etc so I am not going to go into them again.

Cons

I agree with one of the reviews when I say that there are a lot of fake reviews on here. By fake, I mean, the employees were probably forced to go online and write something positive and there is probably an executive that is re-posting multiple reviews under aliases. Sadly, it is this executive that is the reason many of these negative reviews have been posted. Working in sales, I was separated from the rest of the team in product and projects. I was mainly working with 2 managers and the CEO. My team was great but the sales approach we used and the indecisiveness of the CEO was absolutely insane. It took him forever to decide whether or not we should write personalized cards for a trade show and after debating between yes and no for days tells us all that it's a go and we have 48 hours to get over 200 cards ready! Not only was there extensive research required to write such notes, but to manually hand write them and expect them is such a short was something he did not even baulk at. Given how such a decision could have been made a week ago, it was infuriating as it cut into my time to make sales calls and demo's. During our weekly lunch and learn's, the CEO would go over our sales and lie to the rest of the company in telling them just how well we were doing. Never have I heard numbers as inflated as the one's presented in these weekly sessions and it was surprising to myself to know what direction sales was taking and had already undertaken, given nobody had told us. They wanted us to continuously sell, which makes sense, but not once did they staff up to keep up with customer demands. How silly did we look when we were unable to deliver on something because we were short on resources. This company is anything but pro-active. I was friends with a few people from different departments and all of them were miserable. They complained about lack of processes, lack of resources, how overworked they were and how they were getting harassed by one of the executives for mundane things such as who they go to lunch with. My time at Statflo was short and I am glad I left. I do not recommend working here unless you are desperate and like being treated like garbage. The only positive reviews on here are from those who are 'preferred' employees. Take my advice - you are MUCH better off anywhere but here.
