      Pros

      Central Location, bright offices, nice people - welcoming and once you're doing your work and following KPI's there is no problem.

      Cons

      A blame culture, management rarely look at themselves but blame the consultant. A weird environment, where social activity is now discouraged. Went from the best job, where independence and 'being friends' outside the office was encouraged to a robot environment where you individualism was a negative. Generally the positive culture at the beginning made up for a lower than average basic salary and poor commission structures but not anymore. Losing identity of business and have lost a lot of good people in the last 9 months.

We are currently going through an exciting period of growth, and your feedback has been taken on board. We are currently refining our KPI process based on employee feedback. We hope these positive changes will ensure that our team is rewarded for all their hard work in a fair and transparent manner. We greatly encourage our team to socialise together, and organise several company supported social events. These include our end of month night out, welcome drinks for new starters, adventure races, the newly formed Stelfox Social Club, Stelfox Golf Society, Stelfox fitness class (Stelfit), mid-week poker nights and the recent arrival of a beer fridge to facilitate our team socialising after work, not to mention several performance related nights out and hotel breaks for high performing team members. All feedback, both positive and negative is important to us.       This is disappointing to hear, however, let me give you an update of how Stelfox has evolved since 2015. We currently offer all staff an excellent learning and development programme from day one and an Employee Education Programme. We also have regular staff incentives such as high-flyer’s weekends and evening events, which help contribute to our positive work environment and company culture we have a hugely supportive and experienced team with an open door policy.       I often think back to my Stelfox days as they were the worst days of my life from an employer point of view. It was my first job as a Recruiter with little to no leadership, just irrational patronizing threats from management in hope I brought in my monthly target. Management had no interest in their reports and had an awfully staged front to The C-Level team. My colleagues felt pressured and intimidated on a daily basis, almost fearful to walk in the door at 8am each morning. They were the worst start to my recruiting career and wouldn’t recommend anyone to step foot in their door. Luckily I had the opportunity to work in better companies after this which have luckily changed my negative perception on recruitment agencies.
