Pros

Coworkers and customers are cool, and you get to learn a lot about a bunch of different things

Cons

Where do you even start? The business is run by rich boys playing with mom and dad's money. They don't know how to operate an actual successful business. They do not know ANYTHING about crystals or the metaphysical. Very often things come in fake or mislabeled and they can't tell the difference. God forbid anyone try to correct them though. They genuinely do not communicate with their employees, but if you ask them a question they will gaslight the everliving daylights out of you. Over the time I've worked here, I've seen them become less and less willing to give employees any kind of bonus. They pretend to be open and accepting but they are blatantly homophobic and transphobic. If you disagree with them on anything they will very obviously start to dislike you. They pick their favorites and treat everyone else like garbage. I could write a 15-page paper about how badly they run this business.

Pros

Wonderful coworkers, cool products (sometimes)

Cons

Big issue with workplace disrespect from upper management. There is very poor communication, especially in regards to pretty important information involving store function (sales, policy changes, etc). The entirety of my employment, my coworkers and I were regularly met with unprofessionalism and disregard for our wellness. There were far too many instances where scheduling was an issue with upper management resulting in multiple employees being shorted hours with little to no warning or explanation. Pay was subpar at best for the expectations and responsibilities distributed.
