The company has been circling the drain over the last few years. The new leadership that was brought in cares more about growing their personal wealth than their employees. The COO can be found most days at the Fox and the Hound getting drunk instead of working. I know of several people who have been promised promotions that have never come through. In fact one individual in a management meeting called out the COO to the fact that she had been promised a promotion, which he emphatically denied.
