Pros

Great selection of snacks in the office and hybrid home/work schedule.

Cons

This place has a seriously messed-up culture. The big boss is just a morale crusher, always putting down his folks and micromanaging everything they do. He doesn't seem to have a clue about where we're going, and the game plan shifts every week depending on his mood swings. It's all "do it my way or the highway," and that's pushing our company downhill because he doesn't know the ropes when it comes to this company, industry, our customers, or our products. The higher-ups nitpick about tiny stuff, filling our calendars with pointless meetings that achieve zilch. We've got some sharp folks on the team, but they're scared to toss out any ideas because they know they'll get steamrolled. Sales are tanking, and folks are bailing out in droves, all thanks to the terrible leadership from the top dog. Any decent leader should steer clear of this outfit, no doubt about it.

Overwhelmingly Disappointing - Avoid at all costs.

Pros

A wealth of talented individuals who's talents far exceed their current roles.

Cons

No clear role definitions and the frequent changes to job responsibilities. High turnover rate. Leadership feels they can accomplish everyone else's job better than. they can, and is often belittling when giving feedback. Leadership constantly dictates tasks that are often assigned without any concrete timelines, making it difficult to gauge the urgency and importance of each assignment. One-off projects frequently disrupt the current workload, forcing the team to drop everything and focus on something new, only for that to change again shortly after. Employers that are not in leadership roles are viewed as replaceable, and there is no respect for boundaries of expertise.

Pros

Remote and Hybrid work. Decent salary but not great considering the amount of work leadership expects

Cons

Where to even start with this company. This was truly the worst experience that I have ever had with a tech company or any company for that matter. The amount of time that is wasted trying to appease the CEO and COO doing internal presentations (They literally can just read a report in the CRM but instead make you present to them, which is a complete waste of everyone's time), Having to write commitment essays (that's right, they will make you write a commitment essay about once a month on how you are dedicated to the company). They will call you in for completely useless trainings that waste 2 hours consisting of the CEO telling you how great he is the entire time and how much time he spent making the presentation. I have so many stories about this company that I will take with me and laugh about eventually. The best thing about this company for me was learning for the future the type of company to not join based on terrible leadership, toxic culture, zero direction, and products that are nice to haves vs. a solid product market fit.
