Pros

Learned to be a better leader than anyone from the store management level.

Cons

1. Management is very toxic. Managers not knowing how to handle the employees below them and often very sarcastic when a question is asked to clarify and the answers given are very snarky and sarcastic. Really poor management skills. 2. Long working hours with very minimal time of break. There is such thing called split shift in the schedule which basically means unpaid break in between shift and this is to make it seem like staffs are working short hours when they are actually not. No work-life balance as you'll be tired from the long hours, even on your off days, you will probably end up resting only. 3. Never expect for OT pay because if you exceed your weekly hours this week, the following week you hours will be cut short, so of course you cannot see any OT here. 4. Schedule is really messy, today you might be doing closing, the next day you might be scheduled to do opening. Schedule is arranged weekly, thus you can only make plans on a weekly basis and not some time ahead which is really hard due to not knowing how your schedule is going to be like. 5. Non-stop work throughout your shift, there is literally no rest period besides your break time. Even during your break time, you might be called to return to the store due to the crowd (you then might or might not have the time to continue your break thereafter). 6. Company may make you sign a contract to make you stay, if you were to break the contract, you may need to pay a certain amount before leaving the company. 7. Workload only increases as time passes by, but the pay is definitely not worth the workload. 8. There is no career development here.
