Your just a number. Once you pass your cdl you take over someone's route who was either fired or moved into a bus. The start of the school year or summer you go and pick in seniority order and when your new to the company it's the last day and horrible routes to choose from if any left. And your lucky to get a 26 hr weekly route. You get fired to the most unreasonable reasons. Example someone told a child they shouldnt use God's name in vain after the child was cursing and attacking other students and they let him go. Someone tapped another buses mirror in the parking lot and they fired that individual as well. There parking lot is small and very tight to manuver. And everyone is in a rush to leave once getting back to the lot. They favor the drivers that have been there for a couple years they'll get the option for more hours and you'll get nothing. If you need to speak to a manager you'll be waiting hours. I ended my shift needed to speak to one and waited 2 hrs for him to tell me he was to busy and to come back later. If they fire you before 6 months they'll send you a bill to pay for your cdl training. This company does not care for there associates only there customers (school districts)
