Pros

Diverse Team: Working at Sunday means joining a team with people from all over the world, which makes for a lively, interesting work environment. Cool Office: The office in Hamburg is modern and fun, which definitely adds to the experience. Decent Benefits: The benefits are okay, not mind-blowing, but they cover the basics. Good Relocation Support: They do a good job helping international hires relocate, which makes the move smoother for people coming from outside Germany.

Cons

Top-Down Management Style: Instead of having a department head, we often reported directly to the Managing Director, which made feedback harsh and left little room for positive recognition. Wins didn’t get celebrated, and the feedback could be pretty negative. Work-Life Balance Issues: The company openly talked about running things with a "war-time CEO" mentality, expecting people to be all-in, all the time. This really impacted work-life balance, and it was clear they expected 150% dedication. Mismatched Culture: Sunday tries to come across as a fun, easygoing place to work, but the reality is pretty different. They work in the hypercasual gaming space, which is struggling, and the pressure is intense. It's a high-stress environment that doesn’t always match up with the relaxed vibe they market.

Pros

Only my teammates and Hamburg is a nice place to live

Cons

There are many cons, they don't listen to the employees, we don't exist for them, we are just numbers. Management only listens to team leaders. You have no right to criticize or comment on team leaders or managers. Sorry, of course you can conduct so-called "anonymous" surveys, but somehow it is revealed who made those comments. When you say things that go wrong, you are labeled as guilty, dissatisfied and spoiled. For the first time in my life I had to seek psychological support because of a workplace and a team leader, it's an incredibly toxic work environment. I've been exposed to and witnessed a lot of unpleasant incidents, from underhanded jabs to racist rhetoric. Low salaries compared to most game companies, no bonuses, no benefits (unless you count the candy and drinks in the office). In general, it's a company that screws everything up and makes things worse instead of better. As a result, a company you should run away from.
