Pros

Initial training is a great especially straight out if school.... Built in clientele....job security...more than minimum wage including tips. Dental...Wonderful customers.

Cons

Feeling stagnant..With my franchisee Advanced education is nearly nonexistent...same thing over and over... With this industry the advanced education are endless but my company seems to want to limit our talents and keep it simple so we master what we know. Sliding scale for pay rate to increase based on production and product sales but never seem to achieve them. No pay raise and benefits are very limited....feeling very unappreciated since being a devoted employee for years... I have lost my passion for hair and I am ready for a change

I started at supercuts to get the training and experience. the training was great(sent you to HSA for a week to get haircutting training). also got a couple more classes after training. busy location and got fairly good tips. very glad i went through training though as i feel that gave me an extra push

Cons

having to work so fast. 15-20 minute haircuts max, and when you're new sometimes it's very hard to cut a whole head well that fast. a lot of pressure especially when it's busy. also was told not to talk to clients except consultation which was quite awkward at times. also had a point in time where the manager would take our phones away during our shift.

I loved my job & what I do. The services they offered were great. I loved working for supercuts it self. The opportunities that were given to me was a great learning experience.

Cons

I've never worked for a company with such poor management. They don't seem to value their employees & make poor management decisions.
