      Pros

      The company had a great employee culture, which was mainly cultivated by us. It had some fun projects to work on.

      Cons

      Leadership is out of control. They don't know how to navigate this space, and like most tech leadership they seem focused on creating a company they can sell instead of a product. I would put no trust in leadership as they have broken it so many times.

      Great coworkers and work-life balance, but poor management

      Pros

      Had some really great co workers, and a great work life balance! No one seemed to care about deadlines, super lax

      Cons

      Upper management fumbled the bag in a major way! Held an AI hackathon then let most of the company go. Not sure how the company still exists. Everyone left is using ai to push code, maybe a handful of engineers. More directors and above than engineers.

      Pros

      Large engineering autonomy for technical decisions - engineers function both as product and engineers. Not sure what it looks like now though

      Cons

      Company direction has always felt a bit ambiguous, there's very little transparency from leadership, lots of goal-post moving, and a very toxic culture where people are vying for accolades and praise instead of fostering collaboration and growth and genuine progress
