Pros

-Great benefits -Good talent pool -Good tool stack

Cons

- Team leaders/Directors need to learn how to manage their teams - Lot of politics - The company practices hiring-firing policy. - Employees are treated with no empathy which is quite the opposite of company's value. - Few people given too much power.

Pros

Wow, the dedication the team has to managing perception online is incredible. Such a backwards company that cares more about how they are perceived than employee happiness. If it wasn’t for all of the fake reviews they continue to post and ramp us as the negatives ones flood in, the company would have a 1 star rating. Just embarrassing and pathetic.

Cons

Just sort the reviews by lowest rating and you’ll be able to see just how poorly this company has performed and treated hard working employees. Glad they are spending time and resources brainstorming fake reviews instead of actual success. I hope Inovia is keeping an eye on this and your balance sheet because the sentiment is not good and the temperature is turning up.

If I could give Symend a ZERO I would. I had planned on leaving but they made the decision for me....so all is good. Why I was considering leaving.......The CEO is a visionary with no clue how to capture the market or what market gives the best opportunity. Trying to close Enterprise clients when they don't have enough SMB to show the data of it working. Yes, they have enterprise clients but they have all invested in the company in one way or another, so not true clients. He changes direction with no plan. 3 CRO's left in a 3 year period, VP of Sales left and at the beginning of 2024 he dismissed the majority of the sales team advising Symend is going in a different direction. They don't have enough clients to justify a CRO or VP of Sales but he had the money to burn through. He hired a consulting firm that essentially regurgitated what he was already doing. He hired another consultant that was to talk to the sales team and devise a plan. To my knowledge, no one on the team ever heard from that consultant. He is great at spending money but getting it flowing in...not so much. His plan is to have the solution engineers do all the demos (which they were doing) but sales was getting their interest and booking the demos. Who is going to get the prospects to the demo now?? Magic??? It isn't the fault of marketing or sales. It IS about having no brand recognition and no white papers or referrals to use to back it up. Companies are not going to spend big $$'s without any proof.
