      Pros

      I worked in Syngenta for more than 10 years and I found Flexible working environment, Market average salaries, different and diversified culture. Company is having top brands and good portfolio.

      Cons

      Currently downsizing heavly knowing the fact that they are losing the talent. No good employee benefits. Company is having many silo groups in each function with their own interest and goals.

      Excellent Colleagues Management and staff come across as generally passion and believe in the importance and impact of their work of "feeding the world" Open and Collaborative culture

      Cons

      Difficult for progression for mid-level management. Lack of transparency. More dependent on your network and connections. Need to focus on helping the countries to do their jobs rather than meeting the needs of global stakeholders.

      Great industry to work in, feels like one makes a real impact Great work life balance at least in global and regional roles Benefits are reasonably good

      Lack of focus, spreading resources too thinly across questionable initiatives Very limited career progression, all depending on who you know Very poor career planning for mid-level managers compared to competitors Horrendously complex matrix - paralysis by analysis and everyone wants to have a say No culture of grooming talent, line managers too busy protecting their own turf Leaders change every 2 years wreaking havoc with strategy and implementation Top heavy, unhealthy Meeting and PowerPoint culture to the detriment of delivering business on the ground ICS strategy not very innovative
