Pros

There’s some genuinely nice people that work there. They give you recharge days. Thats about it really

Cons

I can honestly say that I have been working at SysAid for years and have gotten worse as a salesperson. There is no professional development whatsoever ever and promotions rely on favouritism, given to Directors with zero experience. The AE is responsible for absolutely everything. Basically a glorified demo jockey as SysAid refuse to invest in SE’s. The sysaid sales methodology consists of either over promising and under delivering, or timebombing the client at the end of the month to force them to buy. Unlike most sales orgs, at SysAid you do not get paid once a client has ordered. You only get paid once the client has paid. Your manager may tell you to give 60 day payment terms, expect to be paid on the team in 3 months…. Oh and you have to chase all payments yourself. The finance team seem to be Customer-phobic. Enjoy chasing payments and expect deals to debooked because management ‘did what was needed to get the deal done’. There is absolutely no technical support on the product whatsoever. They have tried to cut costs by not hiring Sales Engineers. The AE is responsible for everything technical. If you can’t find the answer yourself from the documentation page…. Tough luck. You’re on your own. You can ask your manager for technical support and be met with a one word ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer or told three different answers, meaning you end up lying to the customer. There is a ’No December Vacation Policy’ for the whole sales team. Everyone is on a monthly quota to ‘keep the sales reps hungry’. This means that they do not allow any time off at the last week of every month. Thats 12 weeks a year you are forbidden to take off (15 weeks if you include December). Say bye bye to having a flexible schedule and spending time or going on vacation with your friends and family. There are almost 4 months of the year you can’t take off. Don’t give out trial, because customers will see how bad the product is versus the polished demo environment we showed them. It’s taken them 4 years to put out the new spaces ui and it’s clunky, buggy and slow. They still haven’t released the full version as it keeps getting delayed and is missing key ITIL features (Copilot Ai is pretty good) All the sales reps and CSMs are unhappy. I haven’t spoken to one who isn’t looking for a new job or has said that they’ve thought about leaving. A LARGE number of the Sales team are on PIPS with no end date. They hand out pips like candy. CEO and c-suite do not seem to care about employees. Everyone is an expendable number to them and can be replaced. This can be seen in how many people he has let go on a whim with no prior notice or the large amount of people who have recently quit. Unfortunately, now they are struggling to hire. You should have taken care of your employees. The two recent director promotions for sales and CS (although friendly and would be great to have a beer with) are very inexperienced with next to no experience managing a team. They walk around the office all day and casually sit on zoom calls vaping, bossing people around. The company pepper glassdoor by strongly suggesting new hires add reviews before they are exposed to Sysaid’s toxic work environment. Don’t expect and pay rises. Most haven’t received one since joining. I hit my number numerous times and never got a pay rise due to company financial state. Glad I’ve left and I hope the brilliant people on the sales team find new jobs soon.

Pros

- Fake reviews on Glassdoor boosting the average from 2 star to 4+ stars -Exceptional individuals make up the team, but unfortunately, valuable members are departing. -The workplace environment is pleasant, with a mandatory 3-day in-office requirement, and a probable transition to full in-office work by 2024. -Enjoy complimentary dinners when working beyond 5 PM. -Access to various perks such as company-sponsored trips, a variety of food options, snacks, and energy drinks to sustain your energy around the clock. -Regular layoffs occur each month, ostensibly to support the office and provide snacks. -Expect managers who may reach out at any hour/day, demonstrating a commitment to constant communication. -Compensation is competitive, but it tends to be most favorable when adhering strictly to one's job description, a practice that is uncommon.

Cons

-Challenging work-life balance, with an emphasis on extended hours. -Concerns about security and privacy breach as the primary mode of communication involves the use of WhatsApp, including discussions about client information. -A significant three-year delay in the development and delivery of products. -A noticeable absence of empathy within the organizational culture. -The product currently lacks competitiveness in the market. -Surveys lack true anonymity, as a former employee reported being approached about their honest opinions and critiques on the product. Employees have also experienced similar interactions.

Pros

SOME nice people. There are some really talented, sweet people whose work goes unnoticed and unappreciated.

Cons

It starts from the top, the CEO is a nightmare who has no clue what she is doing. No experience has the job because her husband started the company. Fires people at will, and gets overly involved in small things whether it is marketing projects, dealing with prospects or customers, R&D etc. She wants to be VP of every department not just CEO. There is no consideration for customers, who are only treated one level better than employees. Anyone who is talented, or has good ideas, gets fired. Promotions are purely based on nepotism. ALSO, DO NOT TRUST POSITIVE REVIEWS. The company has been known to call employees into HR and "pressure" them into writing positive reviews.
