I started out as an intern for Systemates, Inc. and worked with them for a year and a half part-time before being hired as a full-time employee after completing my undergraduate degree. Fast forward to today, I’ve been working at Systemates for over two years now, and it has been a really great experience so far. From the time that I started as an intern until now, I have not only grown professionally but also personally. It is a great feeling to know that you are directly contributing to the company’s efforts on a daily basis.
Work Environment
I’ve never bonded with co-workers at a company as much as I have with this company. It’s really nice to know people on a personal level and not just professional level. It definitely alleviates any nervousness someone might have starting out with a new company.
In terms of company leadership, Systemates has a nature of care and guidance. They help me when I get stuck on a task or have a creative or writer’s block. They are passionate about serving customers and praising their employees when they do a good job.
Probably my favorite thing about our communications system is that we use Skype to communicate with one another. Skype is already such a popular network across the world, making it comfortable communicating across the company.
I also especially love the fact that we have annual trips and holiday gatherings for company bonding. Not only do we work hard, but we also celebrate hard!
The Job
I have a unique position through the company, integrating my creative skills with marketing. It gives me a wide range of areas to work with, including working with all departments of the company. Management really focuses on your skills and talent, making the individual grow in potential. I have been able to continuously thrive because of this, and if you work here, you will, too.
Cons
I honestly can't think of any - There's always room for growth.
