Pros

Dress code is super casual

Cons

The toxicity of this place rivals that of a waste dump. Notice all the five-star reviews that don't elaborate on what makes TAFS an amazing place to work? That's because there are no pros to working at TAFS, none whatsoever! TAFS doesn't care about its clients and they certainly don't care for their employees. I would even go so far as to say that they actively hate their workers. Example: TAFS employees are given a total of 88 hours of PTO for their first year of employment. This equals eleven eight-hour work days, but TAFS also takes paid holidays out of your PTO bank. This means that six federal holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) are deducted from that total, that's 48 hours. Leaving 40 hours of PTO for the whole year. Forty hours. FIVE DAYS. This is unheard of and somehow not illegal. It doesn't help that they find any excuse to take this time away. Last winter on more than one occasion a major car accident would occur on the main highway that many employees would use causing it to shut down. Several employees were affected and arrived late for the day due to circumstances beyond their control. Not only was this time automatically deducted from the PTO banks, they did not even give us the option of staying late to make up for the lost time. I had time deducted in increments as small as two minutes. Management would rather punish employees and give themselves the extra work than allowing them to make it up at the end of the day. Petty. Petty and just plain dumb. I say TAFS is toxic because it is not a healthy workplace. Gossip is rampant, paranoia is high, and the resentment is palpable. Anything and everything you say can be distorted and reported. Supervisors report employees if they are interviewing or considering leaving TAFS. They have called employees in to management just for spotting an updated resume on a job finder site. I don't know why this is done, the only explanation can be intimidation and retaliation. The previous reviews that reference micromanagement are true. Lunches are scheduled and bathroom breaks are closely monitored. People are demoted, given different or additional job duties, assigned to different shifts, or even given a pay cut without explanation. They also don’t have a problem terminating if you (rightfully) contest any changes to your position. TAFS doesn't do employee appreciation. Management has decided that it is not worth the money or lost productivity. They don't even throw a company Christmas party. Management is a mess and I have no idea how the people in charge got to where they are now. I heard one sales supervisor repeatedly mock and insult an employee who had a noticeable physical disability. Do you think this supervisor was reprimanded for potentially exposing TAFS to a discrimination lawsuit? Of course not! They were invited to a major CFB game on the company's dime. After terminating a longtime employee, an owner referred to this employee's walk to and from his office as "The Green Mile." The people in charge are mean-spirited and incompetent and I cannot for the life of me figure out how they are still in business.

Thank you for your reply! It’s unfortunate that you didn’t feel like TAFS was the right employer for you. As you know, attendance and punctuality from our employees is critical to our success. If we cannot count on our employees to work their scheduled shift, it affects our ability to service our clients (who we deeply care about and have an obligation to provide service to). We can assure you that we abide by the Americans with Disabilities Act and accommodate employees all the time and do not tolerate any form of discrimination in the workplace. We certainly wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

The pay is probably the only pro to this company. If I could leave a 0 star review I would. DO NOT WORK HERE.

Cons

This place is a joke. All the good reviews you see are because they tell their employees to go in and make sure to leave a good review after people leave bad reviews. The company personally does not care about their employees. They make changes to your job without warning, they make you lie to the truckers to cover their butts just so they can bring in more money. All they care about is money. If you think they would care about you then you're wrong. Also if you plan on going to the bathroom make sure you bring a 5 gallon bucket to set underneath your chair because this place is so micromanaged that you're hardly allowed to leave your desk. They make your job a living hell if you get up to go to the bathroom. If it becomes a "habit" you get written up or a talking to and eventually they sit with you to make sure you are working. If you go to the bathroom for 4 minutes it automatically gets deducted from your 15 minute breaks. There's only two stalls in the bathroom so sometimes it takes longer than 4 minutes because you are waiting but regardless they take it out of your 15 because going to the bathroom is considered a break. If you're away from your desk for even 2 minutes the manager will call your supervisor to see where you are and ask what you're working on. Management can do whatever the hell they want and use the bathroom whenever. They also get an hour lunch break and can cut yours down to 30 minutes with no warning. If you work a 12 hour day you only get your 30 minute lunch and two 15 minute breaks. If you go over your breaks by a minute you get talked to. If you do get a job here be careful what you say because the supervisors are supposed to report anything and everything to the manager. Also be careful who you tell things to because your words get twisted and next thing you know you're in HR. Nothing is confidential in HR. A select few of employees are BFFs with HR and tell HR everything and HR talks bad about people back and forth with their select few BFFS. This place is a joke, you can't trust anyone even the people you think are your friends. It's a workplace but this place might as well be a high school gathering.

Pros

The best I can come up with is Dress code

Cons

Micromanage at its finest, how bad is it? You have to ask to go to lunch, breaks and the restroom. They literally state that they do not have to give you any kind of break per the state..... really??? Way to show your appreciation to your employees! They make it seem as of this is the place to be! Word of advice Run! They have no regards to employees yet alone there clients. They straight up keep as much information away from the clients in order for there contract to continue renewing. They change policies on a daily bases and do not give you a heads up until the client is upset and yelling at you over the phone. No type of considerations towards the clients, they will basically tell you to handle the call.... or tell them we will reach out to them and the client can continue to calls weeks later and they avoid the call and throw the agreement (contract) in there face. You may ask your self why dont you go to hr and complain? Dont even think about it....there's this trend going on.... after complaining they will figure out a way to get you fired.... stay out of hr! Management... ha! Is there anyone really managing this place? Oh you mean where they act like they care and state things like "we see your work" "you have been brought up several times" "keep doing a great job" while at the same time they do not care about you just how much profit they are making out of you and the clients. This company doesn't keep it's own views... noble?? Not one bit!
